Congratulations to Dynasty Poire for being named a 2024 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar! 

Dynasty is a second-year student at Rose State College majoring in political science. She is the Chapter President of Phi Theta Kappa and a member of the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature, Oklahoma College of Democrats, TRIO, and the Black Student Association. 

“I am thrilled to learn that Dynasty’s leadership accomplishments have been recognized by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and the Coca-Cola Scholars program!” said Leanne May, Co-Advisor of Rose State PTK. “I have the pleasure of working with her as an advisor of our PTK Chapter. Dynasty is very deserving of this award and I’m excited to watch her continue to grow as a leader this year.”

JMEMS Benchmark Celebrations: 

  • 11 of 16 tested areas saw an increase in Mastery and Near Mastery levels.  

  • All 4 grade levels of Science saw double digit increase, the only campus with this accomplishment.  

  •  6th grade Geography had the 2nd largest increase at 29%.  

  • All 4 grade levels of ELA had a double digit increase in mastery + near mastery, 

  • 6th Grade ELA had the largest growth in the district at 17%, as well as having the highest non-application school mastery + near mastery at 70%

  • 7th Grade ELA mastery + near mastery % is the highest non-application in the district at 67%

  • Highest non-application school mastery + near mastery in 5th grade math at 41%
