The award was given to the high school that read the most books during the first semester. In order to get students reading, Read OKC, challenged students in OKCPS to read over the break. JM students turned in logs showing the amount of reading they completed. We had the most minutes read from the high schools in our district. We are also participating in the upcoming winter reading challenge that encompasses Winter Break. We hope to win that one too!
