Ellen Ducan & her family have established an Alumni Scholarship in honor of her husband, Jerry Duncan starting this school year. After his passing, several donations were made in his honor to the JMHS Foundation Inc, and Ellen decided to use the funds for a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00. Jerry attended Britton Elementary School and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1955. He earned a Petroleum Engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1959 and a Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1962. Jerry was a charter member, of the JMHS Foundation Inc., and donated his time to provide all the necessary legal documents required by the state of Oklahoma to become a foundation.
