6TH GRADERS TAKE FIRST! PDF  | Print |  E-mail

The students had to make a non edible cake in honor of George Washington's birthday!

Our honors class, and a few other talented 6th graders, teamed up to design an illustration and written description of a certain aspect of George Washington's life. Our project's theme was "George Washington, Foundation, Public Service and Legacy" corresponding to the bottom, middle and top layers of the cake that was and will be in the library for a time. It was first selected as one of the finalists, then taken to SM High School where participants in the symposium voted on which they felt met the objectives of accuracy, creativity, production and written essay.

Congratulations 6th Graders!!!
